Web Site Launch

We are happy to announce that the web site is now going live! Registrations are now open.

As you may have heard, we were originally planning to implement IRC services (NickServ, ChanServ, etc.) with the web site. In order to provide better services in other areas, we have decided to put this feature on hold for now. It is still in our plans to incorporate it at some point, but more important services and features will be much better off with our full attention.

As such, you will need to go ahead and sign up for a new account. We have forums here, as well as a Java-based IRC client (click the Chat link!). If you're logged in, you will sign on to IRC with your nick name (but don't forget to identify with NickServ!).

Very shortly, we will have full integration with the VacantMinded Quotations Database (currently found at quotes.vacantminded.com). We chose to integrate this database since many of the users of Sinsira are already familiar with it, and one of our network bots has direct access to it. Many of the quotations found therein are in fact from the official lobby channel, #general. More details on this will be posted later.

Once you're signed up, be sure to check out the forums! That's where most of the action here will be.

Thanks, and enjoy!

Welcome to Sinsira!

irc.sinsira.net - Welcome to the Sinsira Network. Sinsira and Windowschat.net have merged together to create one larger network. If you need help with anything, visit us on IRC (irc.sinsira.net) in #help or post on the support section of the forums located on this web site. You can also access the IRC network by clicking on the Chat link at the upper right-hand side of the screen or on the navigation bar at the right.

Please don't forget to register your nicknames on here as well as on NickServ (we may eventually use a system that allows log-in information used for NickServ to be used on the web site as well!). By registering, you get access to more information, such as interesting network news, special community groups, and more fun things to do!

If you would rather send us an e-mail, or you are having trouble using either the forums or IRC, you can contact us at one of the below addresses:

Sinsira Email Accounts:

At this time, we are accepting new server links, as well as applications to join our staff. However, established community members may get priority in the selection of new staff members. If you are serious about wanting to join our staff, we suggest you begin by participating in discussions and become an active member of our community. If you would like to send us an application, please e-mail training@sinsira.net. If you are interested in linking your network with ours, either join the #help channel or email admin@sinsira.net.
